dc.description.notes | <p>This research explores how Indigenous women living in remote and regional areas experience technology-facilitated abuse.<br />The findings are based on interviews with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and frontline support workers living in Central Australia, remote Western Australia and regional New South Wales.</p><p>There is a general lack of awareness about technology-facilitated abuse among Indigenous women living in these areas and their support workers. The report also reveals that abuse facilitated through technology has a serious and long-lasting impact on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.</p> | en |
