Notes:  A series of (Powerpoint) overheads focusing on risk assessment and screening for domestic violence and mental health problems amongst women presenting for antenatal care. A range of research studies and pilot projects in Australia and the US are identified and some advantages and disadvantages associated with a medical model of screening are suggested. ANEW is then presented as an alternative to existing models and findings of evaluations conducted thus far are discussed.
