This article reports on research undertaken in 2001 into access and equity practices undertaken by services in response to sexual violence relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children. This article identifies some ethical dilemmas about who should decide? It then presents nine strategies, which describe how the services are responding to challenges to increase access and equity.
