Notes:	Presented at the Changing Families, Challenging Futures Conference, this paper addresses four key issues arising in the provision of services to families experiencing domestic violence - time, complexity, flexibility and systems interface and clash. Emphasising the importance of adequate and consistent funding arrangements, the context within which the Southern Family Life Family Violence Prevention Program was developed, its key features, intervention strategies and findings are discussed. Some of the major issues raised by the study, such as the role of organisational context in determining the success of the integrated family model, are discussed along with their potential policy and practice implications. Advocates the adoption of a ‘bottom up’ analysis when responding to the needs of families and communities.
