Notes:  Outlines some of the developments of the Columbus project implemented in the Family Court of Western Australia and the consequent integration of external support services. It is considered that the participation of diverse professionals might provide a therapeutic jurisprudence approach in the Family Court system. The authors individually analyse the role of the Family Court of Western Australia, the Legal Aid Commission of Western Australia and the Family Court Network to achieve the project’s objectives. In particular, they discuss the relevant aspects of the Columbus Pilot programme, the development of an Alternative Dispute Resolution service and the involvement of non-government agencies.
