Notes:	This paper provides a brief summary of the findings from specialist consultative forums and a round table forum conducted to identify the strategies and activities within the legal system which could best contribute to the prevention of violence against women. While intended as guidance for a grant funding program, the brief provides a simple overview of legal activities that contribute to prevention, including legal empowerment strategies (therapeutic jurisprudence, restorative justice and justice reinvestment), collaborative approaches and partnerships and legal education.
