Notes:	General Overview: This report summarises the goals, presentations and forum evaluation feedback of the Indigenous Family Violence Prevention Forum held at Central Queensland University between11-13 May 2009. Discussion: A total of 160 people attended the 2009 forum, whose theme was The big picture – Putting the pieces together:. Keynote speakers were: * Kerrie Tim, Indigenous Leadership and Engagement, Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (Qld) – presented the leadership program run by her department. * Working toward healing:included speakers Tom Powell from Red Dust Healing and Dorinda Cox from Aboriginal Healing Program, Western Australia. * Community perspectives on the Alcohol Management Plan:featured Kurt Noble and his experiences of the plan and June Oscar and her efforts to restrict access to full strength alcohol in Fitzroy Crossing, Western Australia Recommendations to improve responses to domestic and family violence in Indigenous communities:, the showing of a short film, Intervention:about the impact of the Northern Territory Intervention on town campers, and an overview by Heather Nancarrow and Dorinda Cox of Time for Action: the National council's Plan for Australia to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children.: An optional third day of the forum was given over to two workshops, each attended by 107 participants. They were: "H.E.L.P.P." (Help Ease Life's Parenting Pressures); and "Red Dust Healing".
