Notes:  General Overview: :This article reports on the changes in attitudes and knowledge following a training seminar for dental hospital staff at the University of Manchester Dental Hospital in the UK..

Discussion: :The seventy-five participants were asked to complete questionnaires before and after a two hour training session delivered by Manchester's City Wide NHS Domestic Violence Project manager. Knowledge and attitudes about domestic violence were significantly improved. There was some risk that staff believed they were now well qualified to deal with domestic violence, despite having undertaken only brief training.
