Discussion: :The first recommendation of the Little Children Are Sacred report was that “Aboriginal child sexual abuse in the Northern Territory be designated as an issue of urgent national significance”. The emergency response was a result of the recommendation. The main measures undertaken were in the areas of coordination, law and order, supporting families, welfare reform and employment, child and family health, education and housing and land reform.
