Notes:	This handbook is one of the resources which make up the Through Young Black Eyes Workshop Kit:. It was first published in 2002; this 2013 edition is an update of successive editions published in 2005 and 2007. The handbook provides background information about family violence, child abuse and neglect, and child sexual assault, and gives details about the child protection process, child protection legislation, and who is mandated by law to report suspected abuse for each state. It accompanies the workshop facilitators guide which contains practical training materials. Together, these two resources are the backbone of the kit which is designed to help facilitators conduct workshops in the area of family violence and, child abuse and neglect within the Indigenous community in Australia.
