Notes:  "MARAC Manual"
The guide is designed for use by police and non-police agencies who engage in Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARACs) with clients who have experienced domestic violence. The aim of a MARAC is to combine a timely risk assessment of a victim’s needs, with the provision of appropriate services to fulfil those needs. The guide details strategies to maximise cooperation between agencies in order to facilitate sharing client information, encouraging referrals, and constructing joint management plans which take account of the services of different providers.
