Notes: | The Second Action Plan 2012-15 of the National Framework for Protecting Australia's Children 2009–2020:underlines the importance of addressing the gap between the needs of children and the needs of parents with mental health, homelessness, addiction or family violence problems in Australia's child and family service systems. To this end, the Second Action Plan 2012-15:introduced the "Child Aware Approaches" initiative as an early intervention and prevention program. This initiative seeks to mobilise actions at a local level from a framework of shared responsibility to keep children safe and well. |
