The resource captures Dr Heather Nancarrow’s presentation on how knowledge translation and exchange (KTE) activities function within ANROWS’s conceptual and operating model. Dr Heather Nancarrow, then CEO of ANROWS, presented the speech at ANROWS’s inaugural National Research Conference on 23 February 2016. This brief paper explains what was in 2016 the emergent practice of KTE, and how ANROWS applies it in the field of violence against women. The resource may be useful to organisations and researchers interested in learning how ANROWS’s approach to KTE can be adapted for or applied to their own practice. The resource answers the following questions: What is KTE? How did ANROWS develop its approach to KTE? What are some potentially useful KTE strategies? What is the role of evidence in government policymaking? How can knowledge translation be integrated and interactive for policy and practice? How could we consider KTE when determining impact?en_US
