Abstract:  This chapter examines how European newsmagazines have portrayed masculinities during the #MeToo era, focusing on the period from 2017 to 2019. The authors analyse the narratives and discourses presented in these publications, identifying patterns and shifts in the representation of masculinity in response to the #MeToo movement. The study reveals that while some media outlets have begun to challenge traditional masculine norms, others continue to reinforce stereotypical portrayals. The findings highlight the complex role of media in shaping and reflecting societal understandings of masculinity during a time of significant cultural change.
