This updated systematic review evaluates the effectiveness of court‐mandated interventions for individuals convicted of domestic violence. It includes 11 high-quality studies, consisting of both randomized controlled trials and quasi-experimental designs, with a total sample size of 4,824. These programs are primarily psychoeducational or cognitive-behavioural and often incorporate elements such as the Duluth Model or motivational interviewing. Findings suggest that while some interventions show promise in reducing program dropouts and improving compliance, there is insufficient evidence to support their effectiveness in significantly reducing intimate partner violence (IPV). Both official measures (e.g., arrests) and victim-reported outcomes were assessed. The review highlights the need for innovative approaches to address IPV effectively.en_US
