This article presents findings from an ecological analysis of factors influencing men's engagement in intimate partner violence (IPV) group programs. Through individual interviews and focus groups with men who participated in group programs at two Canadian agencies, the study identified both individual and program-related determinants of engagement. Notably, factors external to group therapy, particularly organisational practices, significantly impacted men's participation. The study discusses practical implications, emphasizing the role of time in interventions, and addresses research limitations.en_US
