dc.description.abstract | This rapid review examines the content, implementation, and outcomes of Men’s Behaviour Change Programs (MBCPs) aimed at addressing family and domestic violence perpetration. The review includes 13 peer-reviewed articles and analyses 10 MBCPs using PRISMA guidelines. Findings indicate that while MBCPs report positive changes in participants—such as improved communication, parenting, interpersonal relationships, self-awareness, and reductions in abusive behaviour—there is limited evaluation of program integrity, system processes, and the link between men’s accountability and the safety of women and children. The review highlights gaps in evidence regarding program effectiveness, implementation fidelity, and systemic evaluations, underscoring the need for more rigorous research in this area. Some MBCPs incorporate a whole family approach, though limited research assesses the impact on family members directly. | en_US |
