The research design and methodology for the US study undertaken by the author are then described. Combining a participatory action research model with feminist analysis, the study conducted explored the experiences of seventy lesbian and bisexual women survivors of sexual violence, through a series of qualitative, open-ended interviews. An overview of the key themes explored in the remaining chapters of the book is also provided.
