Notes:	This article examines the issues and presents a framework for responding to children’s experiences of trauma, such as family violence in the home, in school-based settings using a trauma-based therapeutic approach. This includes a comprehensive discussion of key aspects unique to school settings, conducting an evaluation in a school context and domains of evaluation. The authors then a present an overview a psychological model for a school-based evaluation of child’s experience of trauma and need for services and support.
