| Notes: | It is accepted that worldwide many psychiatric service users are experiencing or have experienced intimate partner violence (IPV) but this facet of their lives remains unaddressed by mental health professionals. In order to understand this disjunction more fully, a survey of 131 UK mental health professionals was conducted to assess their knowledge, attitudes and capability to respond to patients living with domestic violence issues. |
