Notes:	Aimed at encouraging employers to develop strategies for identifying and responding to suspected cases of domestic violence in the workplace, this paper provides a background to the Safer Streets and Homes Project and an overview of the nature and extent of family violence generally, before setting out the specific ways in which family violence costs businesses and employers. Strategies and models for preventing violence that can be implemented in the workplace are then presented and case studies are provided as illustration. The key features of a successful family violence intervention model that can be implemented in the workplace are summarised and a list of useful resources is included.
