The Respect, Protect, Connect programme is a strategy implemented within schools to promote harm reduction and violence prevention in young people. This paper summarises the implementation of the programme across the south-eastern region of Melbourne with students in years 7 to 10. Single-sex workshops are performed to empower young men and women by providing the means to deal with difficult situations, access services and understand violence.
