Notes:  Discussion: IPV among same-sex couples has been shown to have the same prevalence as heterosexual domestic violence but services for survivors of same-sex IPV are often limited in their sensitivity and advocate training. The paper notes its own limitations due to the dearth of recent literature in the area of same-sex domestic violence and also points to the almost total lack of research involving transgender survivors and survivors of colour in same-sex relationships.
