Notes:  Provides an overview of the strategies and models drawn upon by the Safer Streets and Homes: A Crime and Prevention Strategy for Victoria 2002-2005. Family violence and its impact in the workplace are discussed and some of the benefits, for businesses, of implementing strategies to prevent family violence are considered. Specific models, such as the 'big business model', the health promotion model and the 'employer driven' model are then outlined and particular personnel in the workplace who are well positioned to implement and evaluate such strategies are suggested.
