This Canadian report is the result of a socio-legal investigation into the domestic violence (DV) and family law field. Its purpose is to detail best practice in the matter of domestic violence cases as they traverse the intricacies of multiple proceedings.

This resource identifies procedures which prioritise the safety of vulnerable participants in the proceedings, especially children. There are sections which cover risk assessment, potential for lethal outcomes, child protection issues, domestic violence perpetrator and victim involvement in interim hearings, hearings and DV intervention programs.
