Notes:  This report summarises the evaluation of the Northern Territory Emergency Response (NTER), which was initiated in June 2007. This report assesses the outcomes from both the initial emergency phase of the NTER and the redesign and stabilisation under the Closing the Gap in the Northern Territory National Partnership Agreement. Among other things this includes a review of the Safe Places Initiative, changes to legislation and policies related to domestic violence in the Northern Territory, summaries of outcome surveys which included questions about attitudes towards violence and safety, police statistics, allied service provision, and findings related to domestic violence and child protection.
