Notes: | This paper reports on a study commissioned by the Australian Attorney-General to examine how adolescents experienced parental separation. The study used data collected throgh the Australian Institute of Family Studies’ Family Pathways: Adolescent study:, which involved telephone interviews with youth aged 12 – 18 years who parents had separated after the 2006 reforms. Key findings address parental involvement and relationships, care-time arrangements, supporting adolescents, step-families, grandparents, family finances, adolescent adjustment after separation and parental violence. |
