Title: Researching the gaps : the needs of women who have experienced long-term domestic violence
Authors: Healey, Lucy
Keywords: Interagency work;Service provision
Year: 2009
Publisher: Good Shepherd Youth and Family Service, Collingwood
Notes:  This report presents research investigating the needs of women and children who have experienced long-term domestic violence. The research involved interviews with clients and staff at the Mornington Peninsula Domestic Violence Service in Victoria, as well as consultations with service providers and a review of the Australian and international literature. The research revealed that most policies and programs focus on short term crisis-support, resulting in a policy gap regarding the long-term needs of women and children.
