Notes:  This report outlines the findings of an evaluation into the Domestic Violence and Mental Health (DV&MH) service, a pilot project established in 2008 in Liverpool, New South Wales. The DV&MH service provides ongoing case work, counselling, advocacy and generalist support to women who have experienced both domestic violence and mental illness/health concerns. The evaluation found that the service has proved an innovative model of service provision and an effective way to "bridge the gap" between the mental health and domestic violence sectors. The report also outlines the positive outcomes for clients of the service.
