Notes:  General Overview:This strategy was produced in response to the poor health outcomes experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women. The Australian Women’s Health Network used consultations conducted with the Australian Women’s Health Network Talking Circle, which involved over 400 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, to arrive at four major action areas:
In each of these areas, recommendations and ways to measure and monitor their implementation were put forward.

Specific to the issue of domestic and family violence, recommendations were made to address the link between family violence and homelessness in the area of supportive environments.
