This research evaluates the NSW campaign entitled 'Violence Against Women: It's Against All the Rules', which involved high profile sportsmen delivering the message to young men. In all, 593 men between 21 and 29 years of age were surveyed in 25 separate locations around NSW. The elements measured were: men's awareness of the campaign; propensity to discuss the issue as a result of the campaign; understanding of the campaign message; strengthening of attitudes; knowledge of the range of violent behaviours; knowledge of the consequences of violent behaviours; and receptiveness to the campaign message.
