Notes:  Developed by the Western Australian Interagency Child Protection Coordination Committee, this framework for collaborative practice aims to ensure coordination amongst government and community services involved in the field of child protection. The guiding principles and goals of the framework and the mechanisms in place for evaluating it’s effectiveness, are presented and the roles and responsibilities of participating agencies, as employer, service provider and interagency partner are outlined. Agencies committed to the framework include the Department for Community Development, the WA Police Service, the Department of Education and Training, the Disability Services Commission and the Department of Education Services.
