Collates domestic violence data collected during August 2002 from participating agencies within the Great Southern Region. Data collection forms were sent to 66 agencies with responses received from 40. Builds on two earlier surveys conducted in 1999 and 2000. Data include information about the total number of reported cases, gender of victims, cultural background and age, relationship between victims and perpetrator, children involved, forms of abuse involved with incidents, use of weapons and access to support services.
