This report sets out a framework suited to rural towns with a large Aboriginal presence and which service outlying Aboriginal communities. The proposed Indigenous rural model also has a dual focus but places greater emphasis on community outreach activity with vulnerable youth and their families. The need to develop protective strategies for Indigenous girls is also highlighted.
