Reports on the process and findings of a comprehensive 12-month research project to document and evaluate family violence services at Southern Family Life during 1997/98. An independent researcher joined with staff in a process of practice articulation and outcomes study. The report documents the ‘whole of family’ approach with theory, practice, programme outlines and collated outcomes from the outcome tools developed for group services for women, men, children, parents and adolescents. 109 outcome evaluation questionnaires were completed and collated from a possible 130 participants representing 57 families.
