Report of the evaluation of the NSW Core Domestic Violence Training Package.
The key area of concern was whether attendance at this training improves participants’ work practices in relation to domestic violence. Multiple data sources were used including trainers, participants who had just completed the course and participants one year after attending the course. The evaluation found that the course was meeting its stated aims and objectives for the majority of participants. Trainers and participants alike perceived that their practice in working with women experiencing domestic violence was enhanced or validated
