Notes:  Women’s Health In the North (WHIN), the regional women’s health service for the northern metropolitan region of Melbourne, developed Building a Respectful Community – Preventing Violence against Women – A Strategy for the Northern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne 2011-2016:, a plan to prevent violence against women before it occurs. WHIN and Monash University’s Gender, Leadership and Social Sustainability (GLASS) Research Unit have subsequently undertaken the evaluation of this strategy, producing an evaluation report and this evaluation framework.

This framework was developed as part of Phase I of the evaluation which was carried out between November 2012 and November 2013. It includes theories underlying the occurrence of domestic violence, and presents an overview of the program logic model used in the evaluation plan as well as a timeline of the project and a list of the organisations participating in this research project.
