Notes:  "March 2013"
This is a report on a pilot project, Promoting Respectful Relationships for Violence Prevention (APRRVP):, developed by the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne. The pilot was designed to raise awareness among Anglican leaders about the prevention of violence against women (VAW) in anticipation of the introduction of a set of primary prevention programs in the parishes of Melbourne and Geelong.

This pilot project demonstrated the need for greater understanding of VAW among Anglican leaders and of the priority of confronting the accepted cultural norms regarding VAW in their congregations. Recommendations are made for advancing the APRRVP project into 2014 and beyond.
