Notes:  "The third annual independent analysis of UK Government initiatives on violence against women"
Overview: This is the third report by the independent End Violence Against Women (EVAW) coalition of organisations, analysing the UK Government’s initiatives on violence against women.

Discussion: The report provides an assessment by EVAW of Government initiatives on violence against women, based on responses that Secretaries of State gave to 12 questions. Points are allocated up to a possible maximum of 150 and then calculated as a score out of 10. The report gives the score for each department and discusses the results and responses to each question at length. A discussion of the Scottish approach to violence against women provides a counterpoint and the report concludes with questions and guidance.
