Notes:	Provides an overview of research into the relationship between child abuse/neglect and domestic violence and the negative consequences of witnessing domestic violence on children’s development. It then goes to review current arrangements in South Australia with respect to child protection and domestic violence services and policy. Key issues raised in submissions received by the Department are highlighted and the need for more collaborative responses where child protection and domestic violence issues overlap is emphasised. A series of recommendations for future research, service and policy development is also made.
