Notes:  Report which documents practice standards for working with women affected by domestic violence. After extensive consultation with workers in the field, a framework of practice standards was developed to reflect interactions with women that demonstrate respect and empowerment as well as delivering effective service delivery outcomes. The framework incorporates a set of ten principles including safety, respect, access and equity, empowerment, confidentiality, coordination, advocacy, prevention, accountability, and service environment. Each principle clearly identifies overarching practice standards under which minimum practice standards, practice hints and examples of good practice interventions, are outlined. Appendices include additional guidelines/policy statements to ensure effective implementation of the practice standards.
