Notes:	"In 2015, White Ribbon Australia facilitated the first independent case study of the organisation's flagship Ambassador Program by Kenton Bell and Claire E. Seaman from the University of Wollongong. White Ribbon Australia is part of the social movement to end violence against women, specifically men's violence against women. White Ribbon Australia works toward its aims through primary prevention initiatives that raise awareness through educational programs in schools, workplace training, and in the community as a whole. The Ambassadors of White Ribbon Australia are formal representatives of the organisation and use their influence in their professional and social circles to address men's violence against women. These men are allies in the anti-violence against women social movement and publically swear to 'stand up, speak out and act to prevent men's violence against women'. All men in the Ambassador program were given an opportunity to participate in the project, with 296 completing an online survey and 86 participating in an interview. To date, this is the largest known mixed-method study of men as allies in the movement to end men's violence against women. The research provides White Ribbon Australia with an independent process evaluation of the Ambassador program, informed by the participants themselves. It also provides key insights into the motivations and experiences of Ambassadors as allies in preventing men's violence against women. The resulting research outcome, Public Report: Case Study of White Ribbon Australia's Ambassador Program: Men as Allies to Prevent Men's Violence against Women, is predominantly informed by the survey results. Additionally, White Ribbon Australia released an operational and strategic response to the research recommendations. The public report is the first of several research outcome of the overall case study of White Ribbon Australia's Ambassador Program, additional academic papers are forthcoming, including results from extensive analysis of the interviews by Kenton Bell."
