This video is intended to be used as a discussion starter with young people concerning issues of violence in relationships. Four groups of young people were involved in the project and each produced a segment to convey messages about non-violence. Key themes expressed by the young people included sharing, communication, respect. The segments use a range of methods to convey their message. These include hearing from the young people themselves, hearing from the local community through interviews at the local shopping centre, discussion of what they would do to stop an incident of violence and promotion of cultural understanding and acceptance of diversity. The final segment was filmed with the Palm Island community and concludes with a song written and performed by the young people involved.
