Depicts a young Aboriginal woman experiencing verbal, physical and sexual abuse from her boyfriend. Her three girlfriends, together with an older aunt who has experienced the same kind of abuse, provide much needed support and friendship to Sharon. They all persuade her to so something about her situation. She eventually enlists the aid of one of her girlfriends who accompanies her to seek legal advice from a solicitor. The video provides young Aboriginal women with information about their legal rights and how they can stop violence by using the legal system. Although it is primarily aimed at young Aboriginal women, it is also relevant and pertinent to all women.
