Authors: Harris, Bridget
Dragiewicz, Molly
Year: 2019
Publisher: Battered Women's Justice Project
Abstract:  Dr. Molly Dragiewicz and Dr. Bridget Harris will present recommendations for future research, policy and practice on technology and domestic violence based on the first Australian study focused on survivors’ experiences of technology-facilitated coercive control. Findings are based on interviews with twenty domestic violence survivors in New South Wales and Queensland and online focus groups with key stakeholders in rural, regional, and remote areas. Following the above presentation, Rachel Gibson, Senior Technology Specialist for the Safety Net Project at the National Network to End Domestic Violence will discuss resources for practice from NNEDV’s extensive tech safety work and the application of the work to the US
