Abstract:  This report presents findings from a comprehensive review of the Family Relationships Services Program (FRSP) in Australia, assessing its efficiency and effectiveness. The research draws on a wide range of qualitative and quantitative data sources, including administrative data, professional and client surveys, and stakeholder interviews. The report identifies complex issues faced by families using FRSP services, such as family violence, mental health problems, and child safety concerns. Recommendations focus on improving service accessibility, especially for underserved populations like First Nations and rural communities. The report highlights the importance of trauma-informed care, holistic service delivery, and case management to better meet the needs of separating and separated families.
