Abstract:  This report examines the MEND online behaviour change program, an initiative designed to provide intervention services for people who use domestic and family violence (DFV) in rural, regional, and remote areas of Australia. Conducted by Monash University’s Gender and Family Violence Prevention Centre, the evaluation employs mixed methods research, including qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys, to assess the program’s effectiveness. The report explores the challenges and benefits of delivering behaviour change programs (BCPs) online, particularly in ensuring perpetrator accountability and supporting family safety. Findings highlight the potential for digital interventions to reach those facing geographical barriers, while also noting concerns related to engagement, risk assessment, and facilitator support. The study contributes to the broader discussion on the role of online interventions in DFV perpetrator programs and the need for trauma-informed and gender-transformative approaches.
