Notes: | In response to concerns for the safety of women and their children who are at risk of family violence and are involved in the family law system, the Federal Government funded a pilot program in July 2009 to provide assistance to such families. The Women’s Legal Service Brisbane was commissioned by the Attorney-General’s Department to develop a model for coordinated family dispute resolution (CFDR), a process where conflicting parents are assisted with post-separation parenting arrangements. |
