Notes:	In response to concerns for the safety of women and their children who are at risk of family violence and are involved in the family law system, the Federal Government funded a pilot program in July 2009 to provide assistance to such families. The Women’s Legal Service Brisbane was commissioned by the Attorney-General’s Department to develop a model for coordinated family dispute resolution (CFDR), a process where conflicting parents are assisted with post-separation parenting arrangements. The pilot program was implemented in five sites across Australia: Perth (Legal Aid Western Australia), Brisbane (Relationships Australia Queensland), Newcastle (Interrelate), Western Sydney (Unifam) and Hobart (Relationships Australia Tasmania). It ran from late 2010 to 31 August 2012. This evaluation of the CFDR process was funded by the Attorney-General’s Department and involved a mixed-method approach utilising a number of data collections including case file data, qualitative interviews with professional staff, and online surveys.
