Notes:  General Overview:This Australian report discusses current violence prevention, intervention and respectful relationship programs in Victorian secondary schools. Drawing on the wider literature on schools-based programs, it identifies five criteria for good practice against which the Victorian initiatives may be compared.

* Relevant, inclusive and culturally sensitive practice
The authors find that three Victorian programs may currently be considered to represent good practice, while other promising programs meet some of the standards. They conclude with a discussion of how violence prevention can best be advanced in Victorian schools in the future.
